Anganwadi in village never opens, Please call officers to help our children...

Rajkumar is calling from Kogna village in Hunterganj block of Chatra district in Jharkhand and complains that they have a Anganwadi in their village but it almost never opens. When it opens children don’t get any nutritional food. Villagers have been complaining for a long time but no one listens. PDS dealers selling sugar, grain in black market, officers seem hand in glove...

Rajkumar is calling from Kohuna village, Hunterganj block of Chatra district in Jharkhand and says they have 6 ration dealers in their village for Public Distribution System and all of them are selling most of sugar in black market and people get nothing. They also give less grain and sell that in black market. This was complained to officers many times but they don’t take any action. After 5 years of drought good rain this year may stop migration from Chatra...

Raju Rana from Chatra district in Jharkhand says after experiencing drought in last 5 years this year it has rained well and farmers are hoping a good harvest. In last years people had to mass migrate in search of work to cities and other states. That may stop this year. Govt should take action to stop forest fire by villagers

Upendra Kumar from village Jabara in Chatra district, Jharkhand, is telling us about the issue of setting fire in forests by villagers. People go to pick Mahua (fruit)
in forest and to remove dry leaves they set fire in those leaves. The trees eventually catch fire and it affects the hills and the forest. Govt is not taking any action to prevent such incidents. For more, Upendra can be reached on 8102094998
