Govt should take action to stop forest fire by villagers

Upendra Kumar from village Jabara in Chatra district, Jharkhand, is telling us about the issue of setting fire in forests by villagers. People go to pick Mahua (fruit)

No rice from ration shops in 3 months, dealers have sold it in black market...

My name is Rajkumar. I am calling from Kobna gram panchayat in Hunterganj block of Chatra district in Jharkhand. In my panchayat no one has got any ration from 3 months in around 20 fair price shops. We were told that no ration has come but we have now come to know that dealers have sold it in black market. We do not get ration regularly here and we also do not get the full amount. At 2 pm, There are no officers present in Block Development office in Chatra...

Raju Rana is visiting Block development office in Chatra district in Jharkhand and finds that there are no officer present after 2 pm. He says this is a common scene in Govt offices and when the officers disappear the lower level staff also start planning their leave. No rain from a month, Paddy crop is drying up in Chatra district Jharkhand

The earth has developed cracks in many places due to absense of moisture.Had there been ponds and dams to collect water farmers could have used them. Villagers selling endangered birds from forest of Chatra district of Jharkhand

The local name of the bird is Hurgum and I am not sure why it is sold at such high price and where they are finally taken.
