Cholera like disease spreading in Kota block, Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh

My name is Chandra Pratap Singh. I am calling from Kota block of Bilaspur district in Chhattisgarh. Here I am witnessing quite a few patients visiting a mobile health clinic of Jan Sawasthya Sahyog, a private hospital with compaint of Cholera like disease. When I spoke to one relative of a patient he tells me that there are around a dozen patients from his village at the center but similar number of more such patients are in the village. Officials demanding bribe of Rs 1000 for PDS ration card in Chhattisgarh

Chandra Pratap Singh from Navrachna Samaj Sevi Sanstha in Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh is visiting a village in Gourela block where he meets Mata Singh who tells him that Sarpanch and other officials in his village are demanding Rs 1000 or more each to give ration cards for subsidized food under Public Distribution Service. The officials also tell them that they can complain to whoever they want but cards will not be given. He requests us to take the matter to higher officals to help these hapless people.
