Ankit Padwar has reached Arjuni village and Panchayat in Narnur tehsil of Adilabad District in Telangana where 50 adivasi families live. They tell him in their Gondi language that they don’t have good road so no ambulance can come. The connecting road is so bad that it is even difficult to walk. Bridge overflows in rain, need to go extra 10 kms to reach school, tehsil...
Our village is 2 kilometers away from tahsil Etapally but during rain we need to travel extra 10 kilometers because the bridge on river overflows say villagers of Dumme village under Gurupally panchayat in Etapally tehsil of Gadchiroli district in Maharashtra to Ankit Padwar. Police demolished our homes without notice, we're living here from 15 years...
Ankit Padwar is visiting Dhobighat on Mohammad Khan road under Matiamahal constituency in Delhi and talking to citizens who tell him that there was a slum and they were living there from 15 years but police demolished the slum without notice. Almost 70 families have become homeless. Some who protested were arrested. They are now living on footpath.They are requesting for rehabilitation. Village don't have caste certificate, so can't fight elections, can't study further...
Our village is surrounded by forest and 70 Maria Gond Adivasi families live here but we don’t have valid caste certificate yet so we can’t contest elections. Our children can not be admitted in colleges, we don’t have Sarpanch in our village. An administrator has been appointed by Govt though our village is there from 1947 say villagers of Vegdur village and panchayat in Mulchera tehsil of Gadchiroli district in Maharshtra in Gondi to Ankit. Applied but didn't get NREGA work in 5 years, alleges Maharashtra adivasis...
