Activist Xavier Dias and 6 colleagues have been sent to jail on a case of 1989 when they had stopped a train during Jharkhand movement. The case was recently reopened and they were arrested in Chaibasa when they appeared in court. In the case of Dayamani Barla bail application was rejected today and we are now moving to High Court. Alok Shukla from Chhattisgarh Bachao Andolan is telling us about a rally in Ghatbarra village in Surguja district. Adani company is doing mining in the area for Rajasthan Electricity board. After rally the villagers gave a meomorandum describing how Collector did an illegal Gram Sabha and how Adani has barricaded the village forest.
