इमली के लाटा धूप, गर्मी के दिनों लिए बहुत लाभदायक होता है, बुखार में अक्क्सर मुंह का स्वाद बदल जाता है तो इमली का लाटा खाने से फ़ायदा होता है. इसे घर में आसानी से बनाया जा सकता है: लाटा बनाने की सामग्री-सूखा इमली, गुड़, नमक सूखा मिर्च, खड़ा धनिया, हरी मिर्च एवं लाटा में लगाने के लिए एक पतला बास की लकड़ी. विधि- इमली को सील पत्थर (सील बत्ते) पर कुचलकर दाने अलग निकाल दे. फिर थोड़ा और कुचले, अब सूखा मिर्च के टुकड़े कर इमली में मिश्रण करे उसके बाद थोड़ा और कुचले अब स्वाद अनुसार खड़ा धनिया, हरी मिर्च, नमक, गुड़ बनाए हुए मिश्रण में डालकर अच्छा मिश्रण कर कुचल ले अब कूटे हुए लाटा मिश्रण के गोले को बास की लकड़ी लगा दे, अब लाटा बनकर पूरी तरह तैयार है| आप स्वाद ले सकते है.
