ग्राम-करंडा, तोला-हूणटाण, जिला-लातेहार, (झारखण्ड) नन्दकिशोर गंजू से बता रहे हैं की वह अनुसूचित जनजाति और अन्य परंपरागत वन निवासी वन अधिकारों की मान्यता अधिनियम 2006 एवं संशोधित अधिनियम 2012 के तहत दे रहे है. 32 दावेदार अन्य परंपरागत वन निवासी लोग ग्राम तरनदास, टोला हूणटाण में वनभूमि में निवासरत है. इन्हें अभी तक वन भूमि पट्टा नहीं मिला है वह दावा पत्रों को 4 बार अनुमंडल में जमा किये हैं जिसकी रसीद इनके पास है. पहली रसीद 6 मई 2013 की है, दूसरी रसीद 11 अगस्त 2013 की है, तीसरी रसीद 31 दिसम्बर 2013 की है और चौथी रसीद 29 अप्रैल 2014 की है. इन्होने अभिमंडल में 29 अप्रैल 2014 को दावा पत्र जमा कराया है. इन्हें विगत 2 वर्षो से इन्हें लातेहार एस.डी.ओ, डी.सी और कल्याण पदाधिकारी द्वारा गुमराह किया जा रहा है. एस.डी.ओ का संपर्क नं 09572088343 है, कल्याण पदाधिकारी का संपर्क 09431364764 है.

Saraswati from Latehar district of Jharkhand says in her village many people who are poor do not have BPL card and many who are better off have them. She says the more surprising thing is recently some people who are poor their names have been removed from the list whereas people who have TV and motor cycles, there names have been added on the list. Prakash Oraon from village Newari in Latehar district of Jharkhand says that people in his village are protesting against work of TCML ( A joint venture of Hindalco and Tata Power) from a week but the company is contuning their work. He alleges that for breaking the people’s resistance company is using brokers who are supplying liquor and other intoxicating stuff to people in the village.
