9 of us were sanctioned for building toilets last year but officers demanded money and free labor. When we refused then they built the toilets very far from village where all the equipments of the toilets are now been stolen. JM Rangeela is visiting Tenughat Power plant in Lalpania area of Gumia block of Bokaro district in Jharkhand and meeting displaced families who lost their land to the power plant in 1979. They say 1900 acre of land from 8 villages were taken for the plant but only around half of them have got promised job and there are lots of problems in jobs they got.
