My name is Ashish. I am 100% blind and can’t see anything. I have given my disability certificate to officers but still I do not get any pension whereas other blind friends of mine are getting a pension of Rs 500 per month. I also do not have a ration card to get subsidized grain from Public Distribution System shops. Ashish Deori from Belwamasi village in tehsil Jamankera of Sambalpur district in Odisha says there was no electricity in their village from 10 months. They had complained about it to all officers including collector and MLA but no one took care. Then they recorded a message on CGnet Swara on 13th April and after calls by Swara listeners officers got active and now they have electricity back in their village. He alleges that Govt is not touching influential farmers but is harassing smaller farmers when they have not been able to pay back because of crop failure.
