Rally demands CBI enquiry of attack on activist Ramesh Agrawal

The rally also demanded stopping harassment of social activists in Chhattisgarh and enquiry of Basaguda massacre by Supreme Court. 22 more peoples organsations took part in the rally. Water diversion to industry will destroy farmers say activists

Agitation intensifies against land grab to build IIM Ranchi

Govt removing people by force to give land to IIM Ranchi
Aloka Kujur is reporting live from outside Ranchi where adivasis are protesting against government effort to take away 227 acre of land for Indian Institute of Management. Govt had started procurement process for this land in 1965 but no construction started so many tribals were using the land for their livelihood and were also paying tax.
