Handpump not working from a year, villagers forced to drink dirty water
Warlace Soren from Simdega district of Jharkhand is telling us about his village of Munda adivasis where there is no well in the village and people are dependent on a hand pump which is not working from last one year and repeated complaints have not given any result. He says that villagers are forced to drink water from a small hole a kilometer away. People also take bath in the same hole. My area will not be a hunger zone,If we can stop run away water...
Raju Kumar from Semaria block of Chatra district tells us that his area is a hilly area and the monsoon rains disappear there within few hours. He says his region today is known for hunger, drought and violence. Majority of people are dependent on farming for their livelihood and they need to migrate in summer for work to other states. Odisha: 500 acre land under flooded water but Govt is not helping
Khuturam Sunani in Nuapada district of Odisha is talking to a farmer who tells him that his 32 acre of land has been submerged under Udanti river which flows from Chhattisarh to the area. The farmer says more than 500 acre of land in around 60-70 villages have gone under water but government has not done anything to help the farmers. Bhopalpatnam residents forced to drink water with excess fluoride

The bad health effect of the same are visiible in the population. Maoist blockade has stopped water supply from 10 days, pls help
Ipsita Ruchi from Nuapada district of Odisha is telling us about a peculair situation of an adivasi village where around 100 families are suffering because of Maoist-State fight. The Maoists blocked the road by cutting tree around 10 days back and left a paper that only police will open the road. So locals are afraid to clear the road and that has stopped water, rice and health supply to the village. The village is also dependent on tanker water.
