Medical notes: Water best first remedy for burns
Shraddha from Jan Swsthya Sahyog in Ganiari, Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh says that first aid does not require specialists, and can save a life. If someone has experienced a burn due to fire, electric shock, or hot oil, clean cold water should be used immediately, and then the area kept cool by applying it repeatedly. Boils help the skin heal faster because they retain liquid inside. If the area burnt is more than 20%, professional help in a hospital is a must. The sufferer should not be given water to drink in severe burn cases, as it can cause him to vomit blood. For more Shraddha can be reached at 09981367731
