NREGA: No payment from a year in Malkangiri district

In Matabagha panchayat in District Malkangiri, Odisha three of the farm pond making tasks given in year 2010-11 have not been paid for. Poornaguda , 21 labourers Rs 55535
Matabagha – 8 labourers payment pending Rs 16675
Matabagha – 7 labour- about 13000. They have followed up with the authorities, but nothing happened. The lack of response is disheartening and payment to the people will encourage them to take on more tasks under the MNREGA scheme. For more details contact Vikas kumar Danshana at 09437970303
