He alleges that this year 526 teachers were transferred and many have taken appointment in city schools by paying bribes. People from Nagrik Mach were sitting on a dharn from 21st Oct but administration has not bothered to listen to them, so they have now decided to go on hunger strike. Bhan Sahu is telling us about a high school in an adivasi village in Rajnandgaon district in Chhattisgarh which was opened 6 months back and have 34 students but no teacher has been appointed yet. The officers say that no teacher wants to go to school because it is 4 kms off the road. All the teachers want posting on the road.
