There are 4 teachers but only one is present most of the time

Impact : Police arrests rapist headmaster after Swara report

Khuturam Sunani says a headmaster in Koraput school had allegedly raped a 14 year old student but 10 days after the police report and complaint to district collector there was no action but administration was trying to hush up the matter. I had sent the message on Swara with phone numbers of police officers that day and after phone calls the headmaster was arrested the next day. Land taken for dam 4 years back, no compensation yet!

Maoist political killings continue in Nuapada, Odisha

Liquor shops are illegally situated, dept takes no actions

Giridhari Patra from Bhavanipatna in Odisa says in his town every lane is filled with number of liquor shops who do not obey rules. The law says liquor shops should not be within half a kilometer of school, temple or main road but that is not the case.
