Sterilization tragedy: Officials taking back medicine given in Govt hospitals...
Rahmatia Pottam is calling from Nevra village of Bilaspur district in Chhattisgarh and says a medical camp was conducted following the sterilization tragedy. Collector and health dept have informed to return the medicines, issued in the recent past. A Baiga Adivasi woman was hospitalized for using the medicine too. Sterilization deaths: Shortage of doctors and spurious medicines responsible...
Rahmatiya Pottam is calling from Nevsa village in Bilaspur district, Chhattisgarh and is telling about mass sterilization camp held on 10th November in Bilaspur where more than 8 women have died. A Baiga Adivasi woman was forced to undergo surgery who also died. 12 women from Pendra Road are admitted in Apollo hospital whose condition is unstable. She alleges the negligence of Doctors for not taking basic precautions causing the death of 8 women from Bilaspur. Pottam@9165308590

Worked for govt as health assistant (mitanin) but waiting for wages from year...
Rahmatia Pottam is calling from Nesa village in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh and says they’ve worked as health assistants in Mitanin program for child birth deliveries, taking patients to hospital etc from 14 months but didn’t get paid. She also talks to few more women in similar situation. Local officials are only making them go round. They are demanding for their immediate payment. Story of a drunk father who was trying to burn his young child...
Rahmatia Pottam is sharing her experience of a drunk father. She went to a hand pump today and heard screaming of some children. First she thought children are fighting amongst themselves but when she suspected something foul and went inside the house and found a drunk father had poured kerosene oil on his child and was trying to burn him. Now he is apologizing but this tells that we need to do something to stop sale of liquor. Rahmatia@9165308590
