No water post rain, people migrating, where did development money go?

Rich finishing stones by quarrying, None will be left for poor in days to come...

Development project ponds have no water but old Zamindari ones have, why?

Raju Kumar from Chatra district of Jharkhand says in my village all the new ponds dug by various developmental schemes in last few years are already dry after monsoon, but the old ponds dug during zamindari period hold lots of water where fishing is also going on. Some say water level is going down due to global warning but then do the zamindari ponds are not affected by that? Diwali: Jharkhand farmers worship cattles as form of Laxmi, Goddess of wealth

After no rain for weeks now heavy untimely rain harming farmers in Jharkhand

Raju Kumar from Chatra district of Jharkhand says few weeks back I had reported that the standing crop of paddy was suffering due to no rain and now once some crop has been harvested the untimely heavy rain is harning the harvested paddy. The cost of vegetables have also gone down due to this untimely rain and have also stopped the work of vegetable farmers who need to do special arrangements in their farms.
