For taking bath you need to trek a day in this Odisha village
Khuturam Sunani from Nuapada district of Odisha is telling the story of a village where people need to travel 10 kms for water. There is one hand pump in the village which does not work. Villagers have dug a well which does not produce more than 10 liters of water per hour. Villagers are dependent on two water streams inside the forest for water. When older people go to stream for taking bath they also need to carry food as the trip takes whole day for them. Administration should look into the matter.
