Destruction in reserve forest reported by locals but forest dept blame locals!

Khuturam Sunani from Nuapada district in Odisha is telling us that in Padbhera reserve forest some unknown people have destroyed forest in a huge area in last 2 months. Locals have informed the forest department but they have not taken up any action. Adivasis will be forced to go to Maoists if atrocities of forest dept continues...

Adivasi woman alleges her husband was shot by police while he was fishing...

Khuturam Sunani in Kumna block of Nuapada district of Odisha is talking to an adivasi woman Rayamati Majhi who tells her that on 8th January her husband Habe Majhi was fishing when security forces who were patrolling the area fired and injured him and one more person Hari Majhi. School building work in Adivasi village started 6 years ago, Not completed yet

Khuturam Sunani is telling us about adivasi village of Mahuljharan in Khariar block of Nuapada district. He talks to a villager Hutasan Majhi who tells him that in his village Govt started a school in 2000. First they made a hut for the school and money was sanctioned in 2006 for the school buiding. Odisha: 500 acre land under flooded water but Govt is not helping

Khuturam Sunani in Nuapada district of Odisha is talking to a farmer who tells him that his 32 acre of land has been submerged under Udanti river which flows from Chhattisarh to the area. The farmer says more than 500 acre of land in around 60-70 villages have gone under water but government has not done anything to help the farmers.
