The village was electrified in 1985 but 4 months back electricity dpet has cut the connection and taken the wires back with them. Children are facing big problem for their education. Bundelkhand Vikas Yatra on bicycle has reached Nandsiya village in Chirgaon block of Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh. Kamal Gautam traveling with the yatra is talking to dalits in the village who tell him that they dont have Below Poverty line ration cards, land for farming and house, pensions. They need Red ration cards for Below Poverty line people. They have a hand pump but no toilets.
