Ajit Panda from Khariar in Nuapada district of Odisha says some days back there was a report on Swara that Maoists have blocked a connecting road in Bodem block during their bandh and have asked police to remove the blockade. I spoke to police officials about it but they did not respond. Villagers were suffering because due to road block PDs and health vehicle etc were not able to reach the villages. Ajiteshwar Pathak from Bodha village in Surguja district in Chhattisgarh says that there is a primary school in my village for girls. Under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan work for school buiding started in 2006 but it is yet to be completed. The school at the moment has 5 classes and 4 teachers but just one class room, so 4 teachers teach 5 classes in one room. The story of the boys school is also same which is running in a rented accomodation as the construction work is hugely delayed. He requests authorities to act to hel the suffering children.
