Around 250 adivasis live in this forest village.He speaks to an old adivasi woman there who tells him that in the village there is no electricity, no water, no school, no anganwadi and there have been no NREGA work. 80% of people have migrated in search of work. Raju Rana from Semaria block of Chatra district in Jharkhand is telling us the story of corruption in lower bureaucracy. He says he needs a certificate from the local bolck office and the clerk is asking for Rs 100. He has visited the office 3 times. He has also asked a local journalist to intervene but to no effect.
