Report from Rajasthan on Himanshu Kumar Cycle Yatra

Kailash Meena from Rajasthan has reported about people facing problems with illegal mining in villages where administration is taking the side of the law breakers. The Yatra also went to a village called Daharwala in Jhunjhunu village. A CRPF jawan from that village Bajrang Lal was martyred from that village in Dantewada while fighting the Naxals. But according to Mr Meena after long discussion with Himanshu Kumar people opined that Bajrang was not martyred for the welfare of the nation but of corporates who are looting the poor as is happening in their villages in Rajasthan

Court orders state to pay compensation to Matwada victims

As you know sometime back court had given orders to state administration to pay compensation of Rs 1 lakh each to 3 widows of tribals killed in Matwada Salwa Judum camp by SPOs and police. But all these while administration was harassing these women and was asking them to give it in writing that their husbands were killed by Maoists. Today the Bilaspur high court has ordered the administration to pay the compensation by 26th of July
