Sukhlal Tarole from Badwani district in Madhya Pradesh says that Indal is an adivasi festival where adivasis worship the Kadamb tree and pray for good rain and prosperity of the village. But lately we are seeing that some people are inviting Hindu saints and politicians in the festival to play a major role. We feel this is an interferance with adivasi traditions.
