Workers agitate to implement high court order, no one listens
Rajkumar Sahu from Pragatisheel Shramik Sangh in Chhattisgarh is telling us about 3 month old demonstration of workers demanding implementation of a high court order from 2006. He is describing how workers have also tried to meet Labour secretary and minister but no one has bothered to meet the agitating workers. Workers need help for implementation of High Court judgement!
Rajkumar Sahu from Pragatisheel Cement Shramik Sangh Chhattisgarh says on 22nd March High Court gave a judgement to regularize many casual workers of Holcim plant. But no one has bothered to implement the decision. Workers are also sitting on a demonstration from last 4 days but no one has bothered to talk to them. Police beats up labor for demanding minimum wage, puts in jail
Rajkumar Sahu of Pragatisheel Cement Shramik Sangh, Baloda Bajar Raipur says last week when he and his colleagues were distributing leaflets which contained information that Holcim multinational company is not giving minimum wages to its workers, police picked and beat them up.
