A report on month long anti liquor campaign in Chhattisgarh
Kaladas Daharia from Chhattisgarh Sharab Virodhi manch is reporting on their recently concluded month long anti liquor rally which had started from Raipur on 2nd Oct. He says all the development in the state is going waste in buying liquor and democracy is more or less captured by the liquor. Women are the worst affected. Men beat them after drinking, even police beat people after drinking or demand money for drinking. He says for saving our democracy we need to campaign for stopping liquor trade

Bonus demanding workers arrested from Cement factory in Chhattisgarh
A worker from Ambuja cement in Chhattisgarh says police has arrested workers demanding bonus from the administration. He says according to Bonus law of 1965 if the factory does not give bonus then the owner can be sent to jail for six months but this government is putting workers in jail and helping multinational companies. He says in many factories in industrial areas all over the state the workers are not given bonus, which is illegal. He says the workers will be forced to take further action if the arrested workers are not released soon

Inter state teak smuggling need to be checked in Chhattisgarh
Afzal Khan from Bhopalpatnam in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh is telling us about capture of teak wood worth Rs 7 lakhs which was being taken to Andhra Pradesh by smugglers. He says this kind of smuggling is going on for quite some time which is not being checked due to lack of forest officials in the area. Government needs to immediately look at this issues otherwise the area will be devoid of teak woods with grave environmental and other consequences

Maoists abduct three government employees in Chhattisgarh
Afzal khan from Bhopalpatnam in Chhattisgarh is reporting that in last couple of days Maoists have abducted at least 3 government employees. When the employees were abducted some of the family members were traveling in the same bus who requested the maoists to not take away their loved ones. Maoists have assured them that no harm will be done but the employees are yet to released

Live report from Anti liquor Yatra in Chhattisgarh
Kaladas Daharia is reporting live from Anti Liquor Yatra which started in Chhattisgarh on 2nd October. He says the Yatra which started from Raipur has covered Dhamtari, Mahasamund, Kanker and Bastar district and now have entered Durg. After that they will be going towards Kawardha. He says also in the tribal areas they are getting tremendous support from the people. The Yatra will culminate in a rally in Gandhi Maidan in Raipur on 31st October
