Inter state teak smuggling need to be checked in Chhattisgarh

Afzal Khan from Bhopalpatnam in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh is telling us about capture of teak wood worth Rs 7 lakhs which was being taken to Andhra Pradesh by smugglers. He says this kind of smuggling is going on for quite some time which is not being checked due to lack of forest officials in the area. Government needs to immediately look at this issues otherwise the area will be devoid of teak woods with grave environmental and other consequences
