Bhan Sahu is meeting Purnima in Edpod village in Manpur block of Rajnandgaon district in Chhattisgarh who is telling her that they have a middle school in their village but there is only 2 teachers for 28 students of 6 to 8th classes. Many children go 15 kms away to another school. This was complained in panchayat including other officials but no progress has been made. Bhan Sahu is visiting Kosmi village in Manpur block of Rajnandgaon district in Chhattisgarh where Bharti Ji tells her that main road is one and half kilometer away from their village and connecting road is in bad shape. During rains it is difficult to walk and children suffer while going to school. It is difficult to take pregnant women to hospital. There is a bridge in between which also gets damaged during rain. Bhan Sahu has reached Sharda village in Pendri panchayat of Manpur block in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh where she meets Mr Nureti,Sarpanch who tells him that they don’t have road after so many years of independence. It is difficult to go to market, hospital and high school. It becomes more difficult in rains. Road was sanctioned in 2007 but work is still incomplete as case is in court.
