Pradeep from Alirajpur district in Madhya Pradesh is telling that 8 adivasi migrant workers from the district have died in an accident when they were migrating to Gujarat in search of work. 15 are injured and are getting treatment in a hospital in Baroda. Govt has also given them some support but more important question is why adivasis need to migrate and why they are not getting job at their home. This needs to be asked. Yesterday the newspapers say that villagers have agreed to give their land for the airport. The villagers say they have not agreed and they are being cheated. Pradeep from Alirajpur district in Madhya Pradesh is telling us about an experiment of Lok Adalat by Govt where in one day out of 11,000 cases 6500 were solved by mutual agreement. He says it was a very good effort which will save lots of money of Adivasis which they spend on lawyers.
