Reason for drought: Tree felling and monoculture plantation by Forest dept...
Yogendra Singh Urre from Surguja Chhattisgarh says we need to think why we are facing so many droughts in country. According to him tree cutting by Forest department and locals is the main reason for this drought. He says forest department plants only commercial plants some of which generates more heat and kills local smaller varieties of plants. He suggests to run a campaign to stop forest felling and monoculture plantation so that we can save ourselves from drought. Yogendra@9617008877

In drought many migrating, news of govt work, schemes not reaching them...
My name is Arvind Mishra. I am calling from Seoni district in MP. There is a big drought around and many are migrating in search of work to outside as there is no work around. Whatever work is opening people are not getting to know about it. I would like to request CGnet that you should spread the word about any work started by Govt so that people can know about it. You are also requested to put pressure of Govt officials to publicise any work they are starting for distressed people. Mishra@9669060428
