My name is Chandra Kumar Tiwari and I am calling from Jirauha village and panchayat in Jawa tehsil of Rewa district in Madhya Pradesh. I would like to tell that a handpump is broken from 4 months in ward no 17 and this was complained to Public Health and Engineering Dept but they give only false assurances. 4 months have passed and villagers are suffering. Sarla Shriwas is visiting Pathri village and panchayat under Lurgikala panchayat of Balrampur district in Chhattisgarh where village women tell her that there is only one handpump for 35 families in ward no 8. There is always a crowd and water often finishes in pump. They need 2 more handpumps. This was complained in panchayat but no action has been taken.
