We did not have electricity in our hospital and school though we were requesting everyone and had sent applications to many. Then we recorded a message on CGnet Swara and I am glad to share that today officers are putting up a transformer to give electricity. Kailash Singh Poya is visiting Pakni village in Pratappur block of Surajpur district in Chhattisgarh where he finds there is only one teacher in the middle school with 56 children. There was one more teacher before who got transferred but has not been replaced yet. The lone teacher says it is difficult for him to take care of 3 classes together. A herd of 14-15 elephants are roaming around in our area and killing people, destroying houses and food grains says Kailash Singh Poya from village Devri in Surajpur district in Chhattisgarh. He speaks to Ramprasad Manikpuri and Ram Singh Maravi from his village who tells him elephants have destroyed their standing crop. Similarly they have destroyed crops of 10-15 farmers, they say.
