A herd of 14-15 elephants are roaming around in our area and killing people, destroying houses and food grains says Kailash Singh Poya from village Devri in Surajpur district in Chhattisgarh. He speaks to Ramprasad Manikpuri and Ram Singh Maravi from his village who tells him elephants have destroyed their standing crop. Similarly they have destroyed crops of 10-15 farmers, they say.
