Kopa Kunjam bail: Court asks state to reply in two weeks
Himanshu Kumar from Delhi is telling us about the hearing on bail application case of tribal activist Kopa Kunjam. Pleading the case of Kopa advocate Colin Gonsalves argued that the state has arrested Kopa alleging abduction of two people while one of them have given statement in court saying that Kopa tried to fight against their abduction. Evicted Jhuggi dwellers are with anti corruption movement

Police arresting people protesting land acquisition in Punjab
Himanshu Kumar says Amolak Singh from Lok Morcha Punjab has informed that Govt of Punjab has started a process of land acquisition in villages of Mansa district. Poeple got no notice for their fertile agriculture land to be taken away to establish a thermal power plant. He says people have been protesting against this acquisition and now when they have announced to bring out a rally against it, all the leaders are getting arrested. Workers agitate to implement high court order, no one listens
Rajkumar Sahu from Pragatisheel Shramik Sangh in Chhattisgarh is telling us about 3 month old demonstration of workers demanding implementation of a high court order from 2006.
