Around 60-70 Adivasi families live in Teghadda area of Sahjatpura gram panchayat of Batiagarh block in Damoh district in Madhya Pradesh where there is only one working hand pump which is throwing coloured dirty water but people are forced to drink it. There is a Govt deep tube well there but influential village head is using it for irrigating his field and in his brick kiln. Ashok Kori is talking to Dilip Kumar from village Majan in Pateri Gram Panchayat of Jaba block in Rewa district in Madhya Pradesh. He says when he visited Majan he had found that 200 families were suffering with acute shortage of water as their hand pumps were broken.
