No books, No syllabus but schools in Jharkhand are teaching, please help....
Radhu Rai from Dhanbad in Jharkhand says the new session in schools have started but the free books have not arrived in many schools. Govt has also not announced the syllabus so teachers are teaching anything. The administration is requested to announce the syllabus and send the book immediately which is mandatory according to Right to Education law, so that children do not suffer. Thousands gather to welcome Ramesh Agrawal on his return from hospital
Savita Rath from Jan Chetna in Raigarh is telling us about welcome given to social activist Ramesh Agrawal when he returned home today after his treatment. As you know Ramesh ji was shot in his office on 7th July. Thousands of villagers assembled at Raigarh railway station to receive him. They took out a procession and burnt effigy of indstrialist Jindal. Two people associated with Jindal steel have been arrested by police for planning the attack on Ramesh ji. Rally in Raigarh and Raipur to protest attack on Ramesh Agrawal
Savita Rath from Jan Chetna Manch Raigarh is telling us about a rally being planned in Raigarh on 15th July. The rally will demand CBI enquiry of the attack on social activist Ramesh Agrawal who was shot by some unidentified gunmen in his shop. No arrests have been made so far. Another rally has been organised on 16th July in capital Raipur when people will try to surround Vidhan Sabha with similar demands. All are requested to reach Panchayati Dharmashala in Raigarh. In my village School buiding has not completed in 5 years!
Rakesh Rai from Surguja in Chhattisgarh is visiting a village in Lundra area today. He says the new session has just started and it is being told that government is trying hard to send children to school under Right to education. He talks to a villager who tells him that the school building work in their village is uncomplete from last 5 years and school is not functioning for that reason.
