पेड अब भी आदिवासी है !
खो गई सदियाँ मगर फिर भी ,
है अजूबा पेड अब भी ...
पेंड अब भी आदिवासी है !
पत्तियां अब भी पहनती हैं ,
मूल या नंगे अब भी रहती है
पेंड खाली पेड है ,
पेड मुल्ला है ना पंडित है ......
पेड अब भी आदिवासी है !2
जंगलों में हो या नगर में ,
दूर घर से हो या घर में हो .....
हर जगह है धरती में ,
इस दिन होश आने की दवा सी है 2
पेड अब भी आदिवासी है !2
इस सदी के होश आने दवा है ,
वे अब भी आदिवासी हैं ......
सात दिन सोचते हैं वो ,
फुल पत्ते बोलते हैं वो ,
आत्मा के अमर रहने की दवा सी है ......
पेड अब भी आदिवासी है !2
घुट रहा जिंदगी का दम ,
हो गए हैं पेड़ जो कम ,
खो चुकी हैं अपना हरा पन ...
पेड अब भी आदिवासी है !2

बेटियाँ शीतल हवाएं हैं ,
जो पिता के घर बहुत समय
तक नहीं रहतीं ......
ए तरल जल की पराते हैं ,
लाज की उजली कनाते हैं !!
बेटियां वो प्रजाएँ हैं जो दिल की बात कभी खुल कर
नहीं कहती हैं ...
