Saroj Paraste is calling from village Bisanpura-Khandia in Kundan block of Jabalpur district in Madhya Pradesh. She says there was no hand pump in Adivasi Girls hostel in the village and I had recorded a message about it on Swara. Friends from Swara had spoken to officials about it and now I glad to share that a hand pump was dug on 6th May and now there is enough water for the girls. I thank all of you who helped. She says Machai Tola is a village under this panchayat which has 35 adivasi Baiga adivasis. 25 children under 5 year of age are unable to come to Anganwadi in Madai Khurd as there is a river in between. Saroj Paraste is calling from Bishanpura Khandia village in Kundam block, Jabalpur district in MP. She says we have an Adivasi girls school till class 5 with 50 children. On 15th August 2012 parents passed a resolution and requested Gram Sabha for a hand pump.
