Adivasi scholar trying to publish Gondi Folk stories, songs, Needs your help...

Mohan Yadav is visiting Antagarh in Kanker district in Chhattisgarh where he meets Chandra Kumar Dhruv, a Gondi scholar, who is working for preservation of Gondi language and culture. He tells him in Gondi language that he is trying to collect all the Gondi folk stories, songs and wants to publish them for wider dissemination. Using forest land from years but no land deed because no caste certificate...

Mohan Yadav is visiting Bendri village in Rajura Taluka of Chandrapur district in Maharashtra where he meets a Gond adivasi farmer Suresh Bachate who tells him that we adivasis are living here from generations and farming forest land from more than 50 years but more than 25 families in the village have not got land deed under forest rights act because we are unable to get caste certificate. Women Self Help Group is great help, It is our strength, Says Adivasi woman

Mohan Yadav is visiting Kewandi village in Rajura tahsil in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra where he meets Sandhya bai who tells him in her Gondi language about Women Self Help Group she is a member. She says they put Rs 100 each per month and Govt helps them with loan. Last year they got a loan of Rs 1.5 lakhs which all of them used in their agriculture work and have returned it with interest.
