Out of 3, two teachers for Urdu though that's not taught in my village school!
My name is Umesh Turi. I am the deputy village headman in Mohda (in Dhanbad district in Jharkhand). In my village school there are only 3 teachers for 9 classes and there is no plan to send anyone. So students are leaving as the standard of education is falling. Out of these 3, two are teachers for Urdu language which is not taught in the school! Can't go to school in rains, My village has no school, no road, no electricity...

We have no road in the village so we can not go to school rainy season. The canal is filled with water. We have no school in village, no electricity or no hospital. In this village school dont have building, children studying under tree
Parasnath Yadav from Bhursatold village in Darri Gram Panchayat in Bilaspur district in Chhattisgarh says in this village a school is functioning from last 2 years but there is no school building though the villagers are offering land for the school. In absense of school building the children study under a tree and there education gets affected during rain. There are 50 students till class 5. In this school for Pahadi Korwas a teacher has come for 2 weeks in 2 years!
Bindeshwari Paikra in Sitapur block of Surguja district of Chhattisgarh is visiting a village of Pahadi Korva primitive tribals on the occassion of independence day. After climbing the hills when he reached the village he found the head teacher in the school who told him that though there are two teachers in the school the second teacher has attended the school only for 2 weeks in last 2 years. The teacher has been signing his attendance register and getting regular payment. Out of five, four high schools do not have any teacher in this block
Kamal Shukla from Kanker in Chhattisgarh attended a rally of students and parents in Koelibeda where they told him about the bad situation of education facilities in the block. They told him that there are 4 high schools which does not have any teachers and teachers from primary and middle section are running the schools. Many schools do not have buildings.
