NREGA money appropriated without work, No investigation after complaint
Mangal Pandey from Sitapur in Surguja district in Chhattisgarh is telling us that in Sarga village some NREGA work for land leveling was sanctioned in year 2009-10. NREGA wages due from year, Not keen on new work, blame mobile banking...
Mangal Pandey a social activist is calling from Kachhar village in Lundra block of Surguja district of Chhattisgarh. He is talking to locals who tell him that they have not got wages for NREGA work they did last year. New NREGA work has been sanctioned for the village but villagers are not keen to work unelss they are paid the due wages. The sarpanch says the payment is not made due to problem in mobile banking. Adivasi Mahasabha and CPI foot march demanding 6th Schedule in Bastar
