Gramsabha conducted defying insurgent threat, Wont give land for mining...

Sunil Verma from Ranchi is telling us about Gram Sabha in Jala village in Balumath block of Latehar district. Villagers getting united to snatch forest rights from Corporate-Govt combine

Sunil Verma is visiting Chandwa area in Latehar district of Jharkhand where villagers are getting united Van Adhikar manch under to fight for proper implementation of Forest Rights Act. Company want land for mining: Govt filing criminal cases to harass villagers

Sunil Verma from Ranchi is telling story of village Jala in Latehar district which has applied for Community Rights on 456 hectare of land in 2011 according to Forest Rights Act. The same land was alloted for coal mining to 2 companies including Tata.
