Traveling with CGnet Swara Citizen Journalism Awareness Yatra has reached Khursipar village in Dhota panchayat of Balaghat district in Madhya Pradesh where he meets some farmers who tell him that they depend on rains for their farming as they don’t have any other source of irrigation. They have been requesting Govt for long to help them with a deep tube well but no one listens. He says this is the story of many farmers like these and Govt should look at their plight. Sunil Kumar is calling from Malighat village, Musahari block of Muzaffarpur district in Bihar and talking to farmers who say in recent hurricane they have lost more than half of their crop but Govt survey says the loss was 18%. The farmers are planning a day long agitation at block headquarter on 10th demanding proper compensation without that farmer is in very bad shape.
