Sarpanch gave all the ponds on lease, people suffering...

Workers need help for implementation of High Court judgement!

Police beats up labor for demanding minimum wage, puts in jail

Rajkumar Sahu of Pragatisheel Cement Shramik Sangh, Baloda Bajar Raipur says last week when he and his colleagues were distributing leaflets which contained information that Holcim multinational company is not giving minimum wages to its workers, police picked and beat them up. Women get together to stop liquor sale in village in Rajnandgaon

Bhan Sahu is telling story of a village near Ambagarh Chowki in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh where there were 15 families who used to make liquor for their living. But village headman and some women got together and have forced those families to not make liquor. They say now children have also started drinking in the village and those families should find other occupation rather than selling liquor. She tells about two women in the village who are forced to live with their parents due to drinking habit of their husbands
