Village potter says profession does not give enough to make two ends meet

Ramashankar Prajapati from Rewa in Madhya Pradesh is talking to a potter who tells him that they used to get earth from the land of farmers who are refusing to give them for free any more as they used to. Not many are buying earthern pots which are also used as worship material. He says we are doing this work for generation but it is becoming very difficult to make two ends meet. They complain of illegal forest cutting by industry, Police arrests 32 villagers!

Rajesh Tripathi from Jan Chetna in Raigarh is telling us that in Gharghoda block of the district a Steel company has cut thousands of acres of forest illegally. When villager complained about it a police case was made against them and 32 people were arrested. Impact: Bonded Odia child labour rescued in Andhra after Swara message...

Vishnu Sharma from Bolangir in Odisha is helping us speak to Raju Mahanand (13) who was bonded in a brick kiln in Andhra. His brother and mother had worked for 3 years in the kiln but when they tried to return home the owner kept Raju bondage. His brother appealed to court and had talked about the order in Swara. No water facility in dalit and adivasi part of village in Rewa MP, Pls help...

Program to check malnutrition of Pahari Korwa primitive tribal mother,child...
