Anganvadi in rehabilitated village receives no food for 5 months

Anil Bamne from Bilaspur says he recently went to see some rehabilitated villages from Achanakmar tiger reserve. When he reached the Anganvadi center the assistant told him that they have not received any ration from last 5 months and have got only few ks of puffed rice which they distribute amongst children. He says these people were displaced from their villages inside the tiger reserve promising all support but authorities are giving lame excuses for not helping them. NMDC pipelines have not damaged Tree ferms but normal ferns

Vivek Acharya District Forest Officer Dantewada responding to Yashwant Ramteke’s pictures of damaged Tree Ferns due ti NMDC pipelines says that the ferns in the picture are not Tree Ferns but they are normal ferns which are found in many cold and humid areas in India. Tree Ferns can be called the oldest plants in the world and there are only around 250 of them there in Dantewada and none of those trees have been damaged by the NMDC pipelines

NREGA : Neither work completed nor workers paid for years...

Rishi from Satna says in last 5 year plan people in his area worked in NREGA but neither the work of digging the wells on some farmer’s land was completed nor the workers were paid. He says more than 70 workers worked and some for more than a month. He says now the workers say they will prefer to die of hunger rather than working for NREGA. Swami Agnivesh attacked again, 150 policemen could not help

Himanshu Kumar says after the news of burning, rape and murder of adivasis in Dantewada when social activist Swami Agnivesh tried to go to the villages he was stopped by SPO and their families and he had to go back. But after that CM Dr Raman Singh provided him 150 policemen and an officer Mr Marawi to accompany him. But the same crowd once again attacked them when thye tried to visit the second time and neither the police officer or jawans could help. Mr Marawi himself fell down on the ground. He says this shows that SPOs have now become a unruly mob which even government can not control

Richer gets help from government schemes but not the poor...

Ramsharan Thakur from Narsinghpur Madhya Pradesh says he comes under very poor category who should get Indira Awas houses from the government. He says he has not got a house after repeated written and oral requests where as people who are relatively better off than him have got the houses under the same scheme.
