A memorandum was submitted to Collector on issues like child labor, adivasi Rights, education and health. Pradeep from Alirajpur district MP and is talking to Shankar from Khedut Mazdoor Chetna Sanghat who says 800 people from 33 villages were suffering from Silicosis who went to Gujarat to work in early 2000. 600 have died. There are orders from Human Rights Commission to give compensation to 238, rehabilitate 304 and pension to 169 families but nothing has been done. Pradeep is calling from Kunvat village of Sondwa block, Alirajpur district in MP and saying that there is an unfair power cut in these Adivasi regions. Govt doesn’t allocate even half of the promised electricity for agriculture purposes and yet collects the entire bill. This loss is compounded by shortage of rainfall for crops. Pradeep is calling from Kunwat panchayat in Sondhwa block of Alirajpur district in Madhya Pradesh where he is talking to Sarpanch Samsher bhai who had recorded a message on Swara on 16th October saying many in his panchayat had not got slips for subsidized ration. He is happy to share that after the message was recorded administration got active and have given 61 tokens to villagers but 57 tokens are still due. They are thanking Govt officers for helping.
