Dhananjay Tikadar from Balimela block of Malkangiri district of Odisha says there is hydel power project operational in our area from last more than 20 years which produces huge amount of electricity for the state. But many villages in the block are yet to be electrified. The villages which have connection face a power cut of upto 15 hours a day.
