My name is Chitra Kumari. I am calling from Bagmara block of Dhanbad district in Jharkhand. Damodar river flows next to my village but the river is in bad shape thanks to coal mines in the area. Many of them throw their waste direct in the river. Thousands of villages and lakhs of people depend of the river.
