Adivasi working on land from 20 years, Forest dept evicts, plants Jatropha...

Chandra Pratap Singh from Navrachna in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh is visiting a village called Sirhitti in Gourela block where he meets an adivasi farmer Mewalal who tells him though he was working on forest land from more than 20 years the forest department officials threw him out and planted Jatropha in 2007. Forest Rights Act 2006 prohibits this act and authorities are requested to get Mewalal his land. For more Mr Singh can be reached at 08823051477
